I have always had a positive experience with all of the VA staff. The VA found a severe heart problem, that the civilian Docs missed. My only recommendation would be to get new mattresses for the sleep lab. What is the point of a sleep study when the bed is to uncomfortable to even fall asleep.
Had a 1pm app., at 2 I asked what was happening since I was still waiting... After some mumbling about already called back to let them know I was there, at 2:08 i was finally seen, or so I thought... Did not get seen after put in room for an additional 26mins...just blows me away at the incompetent staff they have... I NEVER go to them unless I have to..... 0stars would be a more accurate rating.... And the racism towards white men is the reason I stopped going at all.... Worst V.A. in the nation. POTUS needs to intervene...... read more
Let me preface this by saying that I have BS in Political science and pre law from ODU and was a productive member of society until I lost my private insurance and had to enter the VA system. I was receiving good care in Tampa VA and was warned not to go to Dayton VA as it was and is the worse VA in the system for women. However, I had to return to 0hi0 to help an ailing grand parent. I was a first time patient here. I registered online and made an appointment over the phone. They called back to confirm and remind me of my appointment. Got to see the doctor shortly after I arrived and he was interested and listened. I requested lab work and was able to get it the same day. The wait was short and the technician did a great job. Through the VA I got my flu shot at Walgreens and got my my pneumonia shot at the VA. Very quick. Nurse did did great shot although I didn’t get my lollipop lol. Kudos to the Dayton... read more
