Dr. Terreson went to the University of Mississippi for undergraduate training and medical school, where he was Phi Kappa Phi. He then did his internship and residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, and his cardiology fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute. At Texas Heart, he was Chief Cardiology Fellow and elected Fellow of the Year. He has practiced general cardiology in Austin since 1996, with an interest in coronary and peripheral intervention.

Initial visit with new cardiologist. So happy I changed. Dr Terreson was much more experienced than my previous doctors and gave me a wealth of information about my overall cardiac health that was very reassuring.

Dr. Terreson has been my Cardiologist for many years and is awesome. He takes his time to talk with you to make sure you understand and is always courteous and friendly. I have had excellent healthcare and trust him and his office staff to be on top of my health care needs. His office staff are awesome and quick to respond if I call .
Dr. Terreson, Darby, and the team have kept me alive now for nearly 15 years after my bypass surgery. That's pretty darn good. I could not have been luckier than to have drawn them when I had my heart attack. I strongly recommend them to anyone needing cardiology services.
Dr Terreson monitored my late wife's carido activity for several years for possible cancer involvement during her extended illness. He was always very through, caring, warm and compassionate I could not have asked for a more professional and all around "good guy" for a doctor. My personal initial visit was for a simple pre surgery screening and found him to be no different than when he was caring for my wife.
