He then did his internship and residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, and his cardiology fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute. At Texas Heart, he was Chief Cardiology Fellow and elected Fellow of the Year. He has practiced general cardiology in Austin since 1996, with an interest in coronary and peripheral intervention.

Best Heart Doctor ON THIS "SPINNING ROCK" We all so lovingly call Earth. Dr. TerresoDarby, & his staff are w/out a doubt The Best & Most Caring, Committed group... I have been seeing him for OVER 20+ years and he continues to give Top Notch health care. His staff is WELL TRAINED And THEY CARE about the people they serve. Dorothy Darby his Nurse Practitioner is FANTASTIC TOO. Love them ALL.... A Better Heart Doctor & staff can't be found.... IMO They are THE BEST.... PERIOD.
I would highly recommend cardiologist Dr. Terreson. Very good explanations of heart/stroke and carotid artery related issues. Studies patient's historical background explicitly. Office computerized visual aides of how the heart functions were truly awesome. 5 STARS !!
Dr. Terreson and his assistants all are very professional in their helping me. I was particularly grateful for the quick appointment granted to me on Dr. Terreson's first day back from vacation. His staff is always so friendly and that makes a person more at ease in what technically could be a very stressful situation. I would recommend him and his heart company to any of my friends. Thanks guys.
Dr. Terreson is thorough, inquisitive, a good listener, and takes time to review details of my medical history. He offers suggestions and advice that I understand and can follow. I have always been completely satisfied with evaluations, tests, and follow-up discussions. It's also good to have a cardiologist who practices what he "preaches."
Doctor Terreson is phenomenal. Exceedingly competent in his field and up-to-date on current research, but also compassionate, patient and thorough in his assessment and diagnosis. His office staff is just as stellar. Probably the most caring and understanding doctor I’ve ever seen. I would not hesitate to recommend him highly to anyone.

Dr. Terreson has always treated me like I was a close friend. I always feel like he gives close and special attention to every detail and he makes sure that I understand what the diagnosis is and what steps we are planning to take to help resolve and take care of the issue. I highly recommend Dr. Terrseon!
