We drive from Jacksonville just to eat at David's. The ribs and burnt ends are amazing.
Although the food was delicious,the serving of meat we got was chintzy. This was the first time I have ever eaten at the Northeast 23rd restaurant. I certainly hope that this is not continued giving customers a chance to serving of meat.
We had the pleasure of going to this great bbq spot in Gainesville and the staff was amazing and so was the food! It's definitely NEW AGE GOONIES APPROVED!
I love Davids BBQ.. However I went there tonight and I was very upset.. I ordered a rib sandwich and some sides.. I was very upset when I opened my box and had two pieces of bread and 3 ribs. It had no sauce on my sandwich.. Good thing I asked for extra sauce before exiting the building.. I had to assemble my sandwich together.. I went to the one on NE 23rd ave and it was horrible. I had the worker's meal deal with a chicken sandwich and sweet corn nuggets with banana pudding. The chicken was very dry and had a shard of bone it it. The banana pudding tasted bland and had spoiled banana slices in it. Very unsatisfying and disappointing. Will not be paying a visit ever again.
Hands down best BBQ in Gainesville. I highly recommend the buffet when they have it at the 39th location! The best service to go along with great food!
