At your visit for surgery be sure to get antibiotics and medication. If you need them afterwards they charge you for a office visit. I had 6 hours of surgery and infection came along with the related pain then a 40 copay to get prescriptions. ouch.
This surgery was my third experience with Dr. David Byrd. He is the BEST!! I was very nervous when I learned the surgery was on my face and very visible. I had over 20 stitches when he was done! The stitches came out one week later and now it has been two more weeks. It is still healing but I have every indication that the scar will be very very minimal.
