June 1, 2013 I was hit by a car and nearly lost my left foot which was just hanging by its skin. Luckily I was sent to Stanford ( 4hrs north from my accident in Arroyo Grande ) and David saved my left foot. I had a double halo around my left leg for 9 months and I was in a wheelchair for over a year. Today, nearly 11 years later my new hobby and joy for the past 2 years is mountain biking. Dr. Lowenberg did osteotomy on my right leg and it's perfectly straight. My pain is gone. He is an amazing doctor.
Where do I even start??! Dr. Lowenberg LITERALLY SAVED ME!! I was to the point where I couldn't seek help. Finally My physician pushed and pushed my insurance to get better care. I'm tears just talking about this. Long story Short.... I was in a head on collision with my husband and my 9 year old. We are so lucky to have survive such a horrific accident. Dr. Lowenburg does have a bit of an ego but he's that good he saved my leg for being amputated in a long drawn out two process I'm so grateful to him and his medical ability to do what he does we should all be thankful to have him
