Takes excellent care of my knee. Keeps me going. Friendly, takes time to listen and explain, and I won’t go to anyone else. He’s great.
Dr Janeway has cared for our family’s orthopedic needs for almost 30 years. He has consistently given us excellent and compassionate care. Yesterday was my most recent appointment with him. As always, the care he provided was without equal. I would give him many more than the 5 stars if that option were available. Over the years, I have referred many patients to Dr Janeway. Everyone of these people have let me know how very grateful they were fo the referral.
I had an accident and had to go to the emergency room on Sunday. I had a broken ankle and was told I needed to see an orthopedic surgeon. I was able to get an appointment with Dr Janeway on Monday afternoon. After reviewing my X-rays with me, he said I needed surgery to repair the break. I am in my early 80’s and have never had a broken bone. Dr Janeway thoroughly explained the procedure and recovery and put me at ease about the surgery. We first met Dr. Janeway when our now 43 year old son was involved in an accident at the age of 15. Dr. Janeway could not have had a more calming effect on all of us. He took excellent care of our son and has followed him since then as a friend and mentor. Dr Janeway has been our go to orthopedic surgeon since then. He has performed carpal tunnel release surgery, 2 torn meniscus surgeries, rotator cuff repair, and treatment of “old” knees. He is always without equal in his treatment, explanations, and empathy.
As always, a visit with Dr Janeway is second to none. He listens to my concerns and his treatment plan is always successful in relieving my pain. He is never in a hurry to leave the room. He is knowledgeable, empathetic, and conservative in the treatment plan he institutes. His explanation of my condition is easy to understand and detailed. In my book, there is no better orthopedic specialist than Dr Janeway.
Excellent dr. Janeway went over my MRI and told me what needed to be done to fix the problem and what I would need to do after surgery. the next day Gina called to get me scheduled for surgery which is scheduled for 3-23
Dr. Janeway is an excellent orthopedic doctor/surgeon. He was able to quickly diagnose and treat my medical condition in the office. He was also happy to answer questions not directly related to my chief complaint. Last, he was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Janeway.
Dr. Janeway explained my condition and that there was two ways of treating the fracture He went through both thoroughly all my questions were answered and made sure I understood both all was done with no rush
My daughter hurt her hand. The dr was very nice and worked well with her, he was thorough in talking with me about the plan and follow up visits.
