Before surgery I was in constant pain. After surgery my pain was gone other than the pain from the actual surgery. After ten weeks most of the time I don’t even think about my back. Walking has helped me to recover. I highly recommend Dr. McCord.

Dr. McCord is one of the kindest doctors I have ever met. He has treated both my back and neck problems over the last two years. Morals, values, and being treated the way we our selves desire to be treated is getting harder to find these days. Dr. McCord is a welcome exception to the bedside manner of so many doctors. I highly recommend Dr. McCord for back problems. After two failed surgeries in Louisville, I came to Nashville and Dr. McCord successfully treated me. I have referred other people to his practice. He utilizes the upright MRI which helped diagnosis my problem that did show up on a standard lay-down tube MRI.
I had surgery by Dr. McCord 8 years ago. Arthritis progression necessitated another surgery and I came back to Dr. McCord again. I have recommended him to others already so I hope this helps new patients know his practice is a excellent choice.
My wife had failed back surgery elsewhere that left her worse off. She could no longer sit up and had excruciating pain. Her case was complicated by newly diagnosed cancer. Other doctors said nothing could be done. Dr. McCord routinely treats difficult spine problems with success where others fail. His exceptional compassion and training were a godsend. He went above all expectations and worked with a team of professionals on her behalf. Her back was fixed, I will be forever grateful to him.
Three acquaintances including my son-in-law were treated by Dr. McCord and did very well. I drove three hours past Memphis to come to Dr. McCord because I wanted to get well without having to rely on pain medications and all their side effects. I had my surgery 3 months ago, and I am doing great. I am gradually getting off all my pain pills and some of my other meds as well. I am getting more active and walk more now. I highly recommend Dr. McCord. He's the man!
