Dr. McCord was kind, attentive, and most of all extremely talented as a surgeon. He corrected a spinal problem that most other doctors basically said was a lost cause and couldn’t be fixed. I was at the end of my rope when Dr. McCord gave me hope and restored me to a place of hope and health. My surgery was extremely successful. Dr. mcCord is amazing.

If you want to get fixed, come to Dr. McCord. Come see him first, don't waste you time elsewhere. I had surgery about 3 months ago, and I am gradually improving. It takes time to recover, and I trust Dr. McCord's recommendations. My wife is my example as she was his patient before me and she has been doing well for 14 years.

Dr. McCord diagnosed my back problem from the upright MRI he ordered. After surgery I work full time as an electrician without any restriction. I highly recommend him.

My elderly father had excruciating back pain. He had failed back surgery with another surgical group in Nashville, with no relief. His optimistic personality disappeared with all his suffering, and he just wanted to give up. Dr. McCord ordered an upright MRI, which showed the full extent of his injury. Dr. McCord alleviated his intense pain and eliminated his need for heavy pain medications. Our family is appreciate for Dr. McCord and highly recommend him to anyone with back or neck pain

Dr. McCord is very knowledgeable and experienced. My first surgery was L3-5 in 2011 with a successful return to running marathons and golfing. I had an injury in 2016 and and I returned for another successful outcome. After playing golf in Arizona I injured a vertebrae at T10, which resulted in a failed outcome. I came back to Dr. McCord and he revised the last surgery done in Arizona. I am now six weeks post-op and walking 4 miles daily. I have tapered off my medications.

I had back pain for 43 years from scoliosis as well as after a drunk driver hit me. The first spine surgeon I consulted did nothing but take my money. I called my insurance company, and they gave me some recommendations. I chose Dr. McCord. Ten weeks post-op I am on no prescription medications nor over-the- counter meds. I admit the recovery period was difficult, but I made a conscious decision to get off drugs because of their side effects. I am thankful for Dr. McCord-I got my health back.

If you have had bad outcomes and are looking for a doctor to give you hope, then Dr. McCord is the one you should see. I have degenerative disc disease and have been treated here since 2008 after failed surgeries elsewhere. God answered my concerns with the expertise of Dr. McCord. The staff is excellent as well. I travel with my husband from Macon, Georgia to come to Nashville. Some days I do not take any medications which is remarkably good considering my medical history.

I had excruciating headaches for months. I was doped up with pain medication and sent to a neurologist at Emory with no conclusive diagnosis nor treatment. I asked my primary care physician to refer me to Dr. McCord since he had treated my wife's back successfully. He did an X-ray and determined the problem. He sent me to the hospital for an injection, and I have been pain free for several years. Dr.McCord's expertise was above and beyond the other doctors I consulted.

I came to Dr. record because five other people from a town had been here and did well. I am doing much better since my surgery, and I am continuing to heal. Dr. McCord was very good at explaining what he did and where I am with my progress. The staff is very kind and understanding. I am thankful for Dr. McCord.
