I had successful neck surgery by Dr Jho 8 years ago and yesterday had lower back surgery. I am able to walk again upright and without a cane. My balance is better dnd I am already regaining strength in my legs. Dr Jho’s method of treatment is less invasive outpatient surgery, has fewer complications, and restores and preserves my mobility.Dr Jho and his staff are professional and compassionate. I will be forever grateful to the staff at Allegheny Health Network and Allegheny General Hospital. I can live my best life because ... read more
II was in a lot of pain and using a was using a walker when we met. after my minimally evasive operation, he said id be walking in 4 weeks. I wasnt, so i ha d a second operation in March, 2024. Another promise broken. Now he tells me I'm fine, just have to exercise and learn to walk again. Meanwhile, the results of my last MRI show slippage, pinched nerve and disk bulge, among other things. My PCP said "he threw you under the bus" and he's trying to find me another doctor.
I had a procedure that eliminated terrible pain I'd been having from a blocked nerve root in my cervical spine. Other neurosurgeons wanted to do a complicated triple disc fusion. I woke up from the 2 hour surgery, felt great And went home. I've never had any pain since! I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Jho.
It was supposed to be a simple surgery. Instead I woke up feeling like my body was on fire, and my right eye couldn't open. They told me it was temporary. It wasn't, it's permanent. They didn't tell me they put 2 holes in the dura, causing a spinal cord fluid leak, leading to severe vertigo and terrible headaches. I was left with severe nerve damage, have had so much pain that I wish I wouldn't have lived through the surgery. I now have a spinal cord stimulator, and am unable to do much at all. My quality of life is zero. I ... read more
Jho relived me of chronic headaches by removing bone spurs. I give him 5 stars for his skills. As for consultation he is severally lacking. I am once again in need of a skilled neurosurgeon and I am debating if I should return to Jho. He is a highly skilled surgeon.
The follow up was pretty awful. Feedback was my surgery went well. The scar tissue causing the pain says otherwise.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Dr. Jho performed his “minimally invasive” neck surgery on me several years ago. It was the most painful experience of my life. As they were getting ready to move me from the recovery room, the nurse whispered “I’m going to give you the rest of this pain medicine here, because they won’t give you any more.” And she was right. I laid in bed all night in agony, crying and holding my neck. I got maybe 2 low dose pain pills. We asked the nurse to contact the doctor for more pain meds. She sai... read more
Went there thinking his MIS approach would help. Instead, he ruined my life.
Had two procedures with Dr Jho for Stenosis and Sciatica and removal of a cyst. Results and outcomes are what speak the most. I am so much better though it's been several months now since surgery. Basically, I got my life back. I no longer dread getting out of bed because of the pain it used to cause. I am back to vigorous exercise, walking, etc. Thank you Dr Jho.
