Excellent doctor.
I have a history of a rare disease that puts me at very high risk for a number of gastroenterology-related conditions and diseases. Dr. Grunkemeier was not only aware of my rare disease, but he knew how to approach long-term monitoring and testing. In addition, he has a holistic lens and approach. Met Dr. G when he was treating my mother in law. It was refreshing how he handled her situation with candor and compassion. Since then, I sought Dr. G out when I had GI issues, and he's been great.

He has been treating me since 2007 with regular upper endoscopies and colonoscopies, and I have the utmost confidence in his knowledge and level of care. All of my visits have been positive experiences - not only with Dr. Grunkemeier, but with the entire staff. They have both exceptional customer service and clinical expertise.
This was my third procedure over eight years with Dr. Grunkemeier. As before, everything went smoothly. Everyone was polite and professional. A recommendation for future care was made.
This was my first visit with Dr. Grunkmeier. He listened very carefully to every word that I said and did not make any notes when talking to me. When I looked at my post-visit notes, I was amazed that he had captured every minute detail.
