I have been seeing David now for two years. First visit 2/19. He did all the necessary tests to determine the proper treatment for my cancer. I thank God that my immune system was/is the highest David has ever seen 95. I have been on a 3 week regimen for Keytruda . My visits with the Good Doctor have been and are very straight forward and uplifting. I must also mention PA Lisa Blair, a real joy to have visitations with.
Every thing went well and I had a good chat with Dr. D'Spain. He answered my questions so that I could understand and was perfectly satisfied with the Q&A.
Dr. D'Spain is always patient and offers full explanations for anything you have questions about.
Dr D’Spain may sometime be direct but he took very good care of me. Two years later still in remission and he is still following me. Would recommend!

I have been going to Dr. D'Spain for about a year now and only have two more Infusion Therapies left. Apparently the Therapies have worked as the latest PET scan shows I am clear of Cancer. When I started treatments, I was given morning appointments then afternoon appts. I was never asked what I preferred.
Dr. D'Spain has my complete confidence. Answers all my questions in a matter-of-fact manor which I appreciate. He doesn't hold anything back. Progress after four treatments has been miraculous. He seems to have knowledge and experience beyond his years.

so far not very impressed. remains to be seen via future appointment(s) didn't care for his attitude. lack of explanation regarding numerous follow up visits scheduled and was told i was too difficult to get into his office; was i sure i wanted to pursue treatment? Excuse me? i never made the appointments.. and i'm not going to with just a FU as an explanation. followup isn't sufficient to continue to spend money with no treatment plan set up atm.. and according to him.. may not even have a treatment option? just didn't like... read more
We have been very, very pleased with Dr. D'Spain and Texas Oncology. My father's previous doctor had written him off since he was in his mid 80s, he was told he had a short time to live. After switching to Dr. D'Spain, my father is now into his 90s and Dr. D'Spain's treatment regiment has kept him healthy and strong. We love Dr.D'Spain and the friendly, and efficient staff at Texas Oncology!
