Despite my apprehension about total hip replacement, Dr. Cheong put me at ease from my initial consultation on. The surgery went very well and I was back home the same day: I had no problems at all post procedure. I give Dr. Cheong my highest recommendation.
Doesn’t rush, fully supportive
Shoulder joint replacement comes with a great deal of apprehension. Dr. Cheong thoroughly detailed what to expect during and after the surgery. His compassionate mannerism erased my fears. The surgery experience was exceptionally smooth, precise and minimally disabling. Recovery is better than expected. I have no hesitation to have surgery on the other shoulder with Dr. Cheong. He's the best! His staff is also very thorough and compassionate. If I could provide 10+ Stars I would!
Dr. Cheong is an extremely compassionate doctor who took the time to not only answer all my questions and concerns but went farther to make me feel totally comfortable and prepared for my hip replacement. He always had a smile and I have recommended him to not only people in Clearwater but elsewhere. With all of the above he is an excellent surgeon.
Dr.David Cheong and his Assistant Brandon Hensley PA are the Best Team of Doctors I had ever met. They are so knowledgeable, professional, caring and have the best bed side manner that I have experienced with any doctor. I had a total hip on April 27th. It has been about 2 months since. I am driving walking and doing everything. I plan to do the other about 6 months from now. Dr. Cheong is an amazing physician and very caring. I would highly recommend him.
My 1st visit was in Jan ‘21. Had very bad shoulder pain, he came in with a smile that would melt your heart. He asked questions, took X-rays, and gave options. I took shot first, but shoulder is so bad it didn’t help, surgery was next. I was very scared of having surgery, and he comfort me it won’t be as bad as I heard. Surgery was done 2 months ago, he did fantastic, and it was a breeze. I’m back a lot better, and would recommend him in a heartbeat.
Dr. Cheong preformed TKR surgery on both my husband and me. From beginning to end Dr. Cheong and his staff, Brandon Hensley, and Heather Fryberger were kind, compassionate as well as knowledgeable and accommodating . They navigated every step through the restrictions of the pandemic. We were given all the information to prepare us for recovery and therapy.
