I took my suburban in about a few months ago for a new engine. I was asked to bring it back in for the first oil change, which I did. I explained to my service advisor that I was about 10 lbs light in a tire and to please check it, because I would be driving to Florida. I got it back and he said it was "good to go to Florida".. however, when I noticed my tire pressure was still low.
