RecommendedI have purchased several vehicles from McDermott’s, 2 Trucks (new) an SUV and Corvette (previously owned). I was previously employed in auto sales and I can say the sales staff at McDermotts has always been courteous and professional and most importantly they listen to you! The Service dept. is second to none, under the leadership of Mr. Joe Cetta I have always been completely satisfied!
Brought my car because my automatic starter didn’t work (due to the engine light). Day 1 - dropped off the car at 7:30am, was assured that it’s gonna be ready by 5pm. Was not, the part didn’t come in till next week. Day 2 dropped off, picked up with the engine light on and suddenly another code to fix that wasn’t visible first time....Found myself unable to pump gas because they rattled the gas pump sensor when fixing something else. Stopped in to charge my Bolt with their fast charger. Had a range of 154 miles when I got there and 155 miles 1/2 hour later. Apparently they don’t know how to plug in a car?
I just paid off my over priced 2012 chevy cruze, received basically nothing for my trade in. but the worst part was dealing with the finance lady, the only way to describe her is she is the epitome of Incompetence!!! she ignored me for days when I had a problem. Finally found the answer from my own bank! very sad situation. And the service dept. LOL too much to type.
RecommendedI have only dealt with two auto dealers Mannix and McDermott. Both were excellent to purchase and service a car with. McDermott took over servicing my pontiac G6 convertible when Mannix was shut down. McDermott service is the best. Shelby in service is always professional and friendly. Johnny mechanic took excellent care of the G6 and kept it in great shape. When it was time to turn it in for the Equinox purchasing was easy.
