Dr. Kocs 'tells it like it is.' This is very important to me as I like to know where I stand and don't want things sugar coated. I have great trust in Dr. Kocs. When I hear something good I know that I can believe it completely.
Dr. Kocs has been my oncologist for 8 years and I can't imagine going to anyone else. He worked with my MD Anderson specialist upon diagnosis and has been with me every step of the way since. Can't say enough good things about the good doctor. I feel extremely grateful to have had him in my life during this terribly difficult time.
He listened to what I had to say. He was not dismissive of my thoughts. There was a discussion regarding my path to recovery. And we joked around a bit. I liked that.

Dr. Kocs and all of his staff have treated me with the utmost of professionalism and respect during my 8 months of treatments. I have complete trust in Dr. Kocs as my Oncologist and would have no problem referring him to anyone needing an Oncologist.
Dr. Kocs is a kind, caring knowledgeable Oncologist. He always walks into the room with a large smile and a nice comment to greet you. He explains your results and the next steps very clearly. He is very compassionate and listens to and addresses all of your concerns. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Kocs.

I like the friendly greeting I receive every time he enters the room which brings a smile to my face. He is honest and knowledgeable about where I am in the cancer treating process which makes him trustworthy. Having trust in your doctor is a must for your own wellbeing. I am so very happy to have him as my doctor.

How prepared he was with the records from my transplant.
He understand my situation and does not rock the boat. I have been on the same medication for CML treatment for 10 years with little side effects and I am in remission. Although there are newer and better medications now available he is leaving me on current medication as long as it is working.
