I was devastated to learn that I had cancer. Dr. Kocs was able to explain things to me and assured me that he could help. Then, he actually did. I accepted what he suggested, went through the plan with him, and soon my cancer was under control. I consider this a miracle.
Dr. Kocs 'tells it like it is.' This is very important to me as I like to know where I stand and don't want things sugar coated. I have great trust in Dr. Kocs. When I hear something good I know that I can believe it completely.
Dr. Kocs has been my oncologist for 8 years and I can't imagine going to anyone else. He worked with my MD Anderson specialist upon diagnosis and has been with me every step of the way since. Can't say enough good things about the good doctor. I feel extremely grateful to have had him in my life during this terribly difficult time.
He listened to what I had to say. He was not dismissive of my thoughts. There was a discussion regarding my path to recovery. And we joked around a bit. I liked that.
