Carla Peterson made my tour, application and move-in process incredibly smooth! Her live tour of the property was incredibly comprehensive and despite some technical issues with my application, she spent so much to ensure my application goes through! Not being able to view the property in person before moving in, I appreciated this support I got! The building is at a great location, highly recommend!
Carla Peterson was a godsend in helping us figure out our application and get it sent in a matter of days. She and Ms. Rasheva Bighom were incredibly responsive to our millions of questions. We ultimately chose another unit elsewhere, but the support that Ms. Peterson and Ms. Bighom provided was unforgettable in the midst of complex or unreliable agency regulation. Wanna live in a dangerous building ? Wanna see cops in your building all the time ? Wanna be told you can't get to your apartment and need to wait outside until police tells you it's safe to go inside ? If you answered yes to these questions then this is the perfect building for you in DC
DO NOT get an apartment here. The property management company, Borger Properties, is incredibly difficult to deal with and will tell you they will have the paperwork ready in a couple of days and be lying to you. You will then wait days and weeks past the day you were told your lease would be ready. And they create false excuses as to why the paperwork isn't ready yet when it's really just issues on their end that are causing delays.
