I had an appontment for full body skin cancer check. First appointment of the day and I waited in the exam room for half hour. She did a non thourogh exam (never even looked at scalp). When I aksed about discoloratin of my knee cap she told me it was from crawling around on my knees..(I'm 64, I haven't crawled in years.) She told told me to book another appt to discuss Blue light therapy for face. The staff are very nice. Similar to other reviews here: the doctor purposely does not treat in an efficient manner. What should have been two appointments, she would only treat partial and force another appointment. One appointment was just to tell me results of biopsy; this could have been delivered over the phone. When I raised this to her, her response was I don't always do what my patients want. The doctor would rather charge for another office visit to make money.

I have seen her numerous times over several years, but sometimes things seem not quite right. Recently I went in for an appt. and one of her staff presented me with a letter saying I was being "terminated" as a patient, and to find another doctor. I was completely refused an explanation about why. Wimmer came back to the examining room and said it had been a "staffing" problem and she was not terminating me after all. Dr. Martin-Wimmer helped to resolve several skin issues. She always offers effective treatments for my dermatologic concerns. My skin is healthier than it has been in years and I am so relieved to be feeling comfortable again. I am so glad I sought out Dr. Martin-Wimmer for assistance.

I have left a very positive review about this physician in the past but she has not corrected a serious issue of false advertising on the Internet as of November 19, 2020. She is NOT a MOHS surgeon or a cosmetic dermatologist. She promised to delete that information three months ago but has not.

I had a follow-up visit with Dr. Martin-Wimmer today. She is an excellent dermatologist. I had some concerns and questions about a growth on my face. Even though she had another doctor on hold for her she let me finish my list. Her staff is great as well.

'Dr. Darnell' is a wonderful human being and awesome dermatologist. I have been seeing her for many years now, and will not go anywhere else. There was a time a saw another doctor for a pre-cancerous condition, and was distraught with her care. I will see Dr. Darnell for all my skin concerns. She's the best! Her staff are wonderful, caring professionals.

I have been going to Dr. Martin-Wimmer for several years. She is a very knowledgeable physician that is open to listening to my concerns and willing to spend time to answer. I appreciate her expertise and manner. All the nurses and staff within the office are friendly, helpful and professional as well. I highly recommend this office.
