Best in town – I've been going to Daquila for about 5 years now! I have put Danielle in charge of my hair. It's terrific, she works her magic & I'm always happy and feeling like a new women when I leave!
Hairstyle to Lifestyle !! – When I first arrived I met Danielle and we sat down for a consultation. She asked me questions concerning my work, hobbies etc. She suggested that we radically change my hairstyle as it did not fit my personality. She stated "you should always strive to match hairstyle to lifestyle" and a week does not go by that someone does not compliment my hair and color. I will go no where else!
Best hair stylist I could find in five countries – I lived in five different countries including 10 years in the US. I always had a problem finding a good hair stylist. A friend recommended Daquila's. This was almost four years ago and I still go there exclusively. Shadyside neighbourhood location is great; the salon space is contemporary and pleasant; the service is prompt, always punctual, and staff is very friendly. Best hair cuts and highlights!
One of the best salons anywhere! – I highly recommend Daquila Hair Color Studio. It's a great salon where every client walks out looking fabulous. Deborah and Danielle always do a stellar job with cuts and color. The only salon that I've been to that comes close to providing the results I receive here is in Paris. I especially love the Balayage highlights!
hip professional hair studio – The owner has years of experience, studied in Paris, and you can feel the expertise in the hands of the stylists she trains and employs. Attention to detail is lovely yet subtle in the ambiance of the salon as well as the professionalism and skill of the stylists. Lee, Michael, Juana have all given me great cuts. If your looking for a reliable salon, this is it.
Keep it secret! – I was so pleased to learn that our favorite senior stylist, Matthew Murphy, had left the high pressure salon on Walnut Street and was relocating to Daquila's Salon in the East End. What a wonderful change! Give them a chance to serve you in their quiet, comforting, natural surroundings. You will be as pleased as our whole 3 generation family is!
Great cuts and balyage colors – I've been going to Daquila for 18 mos. I've had cuts and colors with both Danielle and Matthew. The balyage technique is great - looks very natural. I've always gotten very flattering haircuts. They offer a great line of products, too - I always end up picking up a new product that is great for my hair. I would highly recommend Daquila - it's a very relaxing atmosphere - nice wide open space, calming colors in the studio - definitely a relaxing way to spend a few hours and leave looking great!
low stress professional salon – I have had cuts and color with Matthew and Deborah and have been very happy. They both do a wonderful job. Schedules are very accomodating for busy clients and the staff is pleasant.
Awesome Salon! – After moving from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh it took me over a year to find a quality hair salon like Daquila. I am very picky about who cuts and colors my hair and the staff at Daquila not only met, but exceeded my expectations. I have gone to both Danielle and Juana and they are both fabulous!
