Daquila = Best Salon in Pittsburgh – Daquila is the only salon is Pittsburgh where I would get my hair highlighted and cut. I love how natural the color of my blonde hair looks with the balayage technique. I always leave the salon with exactly what I wanted for my hair. The staff is also super friendly and accommodating. Deborah has magic fingers! – I have been going to Deborah for 12 years and I always get compliments on my hair! Deborah always comes up with something new and fresh to do with my hair so there's no chance I'll ever get bored with it! Top-quality salon without the pretension! – I just stopped in for my first time at Daquila a few days ago, and it was a friendly experience from beginning to end. The entire atmosphere of the salon is chic but low-key -- not snooty snoots here! One of the stylists even had her dogs in the studio -- so cute! If for no other reason, you should stop in for the INCREDIBLE way they wash your hair. Great color: very natural – Deborah did a great job coloring my hair using the balayage technique. I am very very VERY picky when it comes to my hair. Being Asian, I wanted to make sure my color looked very natural; Deborah definitely made my hair look pretty and natural. I highly recommend her for color.
Great Color &n Cut! – Just moved here after 30 years in the NYC area. My highlighted blonde "bob" was maintained for years by the best in The City. Rachel Lee - Rocks! – Rachel knew exactly what to do! I told her I spent little time on my hair & wanted something low maintenance. The attention to detail was unprecedented, at least in comparison to the other stylists I've been to over the years. The best thing is that the cut still looks great when styling it myself! Deborah cared for my hair as much as I would have – I visited Daquila for cut and color with Deborah yesterday and I am never going to go elsewhere. If you have read the other reviews you would know that the salon is spacious, has natural lighting, offers complimentary beverages and is clean. To me these amenities are all good but not what I am paying for. I just wanted to have an excellent hair-dresser who knew her job.
