When I first started coming here a year ago, there were no issues. In fact, I gave them a good review. However, last few months, it changed. All 3 receptionist are extremely rude! I wanted a simple request. I needed copies of my medical records. I am looking for new provider. Waiting room was empty. Tara, said they got new computer system. When it was a month or more ago. I usually do not write reviews, but in this case I feel the need to. My husband and I just moved in the area and he was looking for a PCP and we found Dr. Shults. The lady at the front told me he was in really good hands, but I know that’s their job. Well, she wasn’t kidding. Not only did he spend close to 45 minutes with us because it was his first visit, he was compassionate, kind, knowledgeable, and took care of all of my husband‘s needs. Dr. Schultz is an excellent doctor. Very caring very personable and very knowledgeable but not arrogant! He’s awesome! He’s so helpful. I am over 55 and know what protocols were in place for good healthcare, and how it’s changed after COVID, so you know the difference when you run into someone who doesn’t know or doesn’t care. This man knows and cares! He’s awesome!
First off, I want to mention staff. You can tell they all have compassion and truly care. When I first walked in Janiya gave me a huge smile. She is super friendly, makes you feel welcome, and my anxiety was immediately gone. Chelsea is also very sweet and nice. His assistant, Shaneen knows her stuff and is also sweet and nice. I give Dr. Shults is 10* all the way! He is very thorough, personable, and caring. He listens very well and knows what to do. If you’re looking for a new Doctor, you’ve found the right place!
HIGHLY recommend going to see Dr. Shults. He listens to what you have going on and doesn’t come into the room with preconceived notions. He takes a more balanced approach of recommending lifestyle changes as opposed to just prescribing a medication for everything. If you are looking for a good local doctor that you can trust, Dr Shults is your guy.
