Look no further - Daniel Rich is the top. Was up and walking hours later and home the next day after a knee replacement. What doctor on earth responds to your call to him on a Sunday night at 11:00 p.m. to answer a question that you have. Dr. Rich. He did a phenomenal job, and I feel like a new man. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Rich AND his staff. You're not a number - you're a patient with emotions and needs that are fulfilled by this team. HSS is also unsurpassed.
Dr. Rich and his staff are caring and professional. They guided me through my total hip replacement from start to finish. Dr. Rich's skills allowed me to leave my pain on the operating room table. One month after surgery I am walking two pain free miles a day. If you are considering surgery, Dr. Rich should be your first call. The folks at HSS also deserve a big thank-you

Dr. Rich seems very sincere about wanting to help his patients to feel better.
I had an emergency situation and needed to be seen. I was already a patient and had to beg to be seen. I broke my knee for the second time and DR. Rich and his staff treated me HORRIBLY. I was in tears with pain and he told me I may need surgery but need an MRI which he would NOT schedule for me and did not try to help. I was in wheel chair crying with pain… and he turned his head.. I found an MRI which called an ambulance to a hospital which I stayed for 4 days!!
I recommend Dr Rich and his staff at the highest level.
Dr. Rich provided me back with my quality of life. My hip is now 100%. A tremendous doctor who takes the time to explain your situation. I would highly recommend Dr. Rich to anyone in need of full hip replacement surgery. I would give him 6 stars, if possible.
I couldn't ask for a better person, a wonderful man!
