Dr. Ocel took a keen interest in what my post-operative, long term goals were; always willing to respond to questions with clear and concise answers; exhibited passion about his work; never once felt hurried or that I was just another patient. As much of an enjoyable experience that one can have undergoing surgery and recovery!
Dr. Ocel and his staff are wonderful! He preformed a surgery on my heel and all is going great! Will have him repair my other foot next month!

As my first time to see Dr. Olec, I'm very sure I selected the top grade Dr. w ith all the preparations I have to do, I feel very confident , all is well. I can't think of much more to say, till my toes are looked at and taken care of.
Dr. Ocel is personable, approachable, an expert in his field. His assessment of my foot pain was accurate and the treatment plan he outlined conservative, yet affective. Options were outlined and I appreciate that surgery was not the first option.
Dr. Ocel is such a brilliant surgeon. My husband fell 30 feet from a ladder, shattered his heel bone into little pieces. Dr. Ocel put him all back together. I have had 3 surgeries by him. He is really, really good and he is a nice caring person, too. I love the way he treats his staff with respect and humor (I think you can tell a lot about someone by how they treat their employees). I highly recommend him to anyone who needs foot surgery.
Dr. Ocel has been my doctor throughout the last 16 years. He hits it out of the park every time I need him. He is attentive to me and my needs and the medical staff is superior and highly trained. His expertise is worth the wait to see him. I am blessed to have found him. Best of all, I trust him. How many doctors can you say that about?
I saw Dr. Ocel for a needed surgery on my ankle. He explained the entire procedure and answered all my questions. He & his staff were very professional and very helpful. I would recommend Dr. Ocel.
I missed my appt. and Dr. Ocel got me in the same day. Great surgeon and great guy. I had a right ankle I could only walk on flat surfaces for short distances. I'm fully functional now with my new ankle replacement.
Nine months after a Tibialis Posterior Reconstruction and calcaneal osteotomy was performed on me, I went in to have the appliance removed from my heel. The medical team were the same people who attended last time I was in. All excellent, swarming around me, taking care of business. I felt I was in good hands and I really was. Didn't meet Dr. Ocel but the work he did was evident. I am healing well. It's been about 9 months from the initial surgery. Experiencing some swelling and I have some PT to do still.
