I was in a week ago for the flu. The staff is the best I have seen in a long, long time. It starts with the front office, and then it goes to the back office. Dr. Kuzio has the best staff. He has done well with his choices of nurses. They all sweet. Dr. Kuzio is a wonderful doctor, I love him to death. His bedside is GREAT and so is his personallity. I will always want him to be my doctor, and he will be for as long as I am here.
Ive been with Dr. Kuzio for over 6 years. Two to three years ago I started seeing changes in the quality of care. Its been difficult to get Dr. Kuzio and even if I get him, he is very busy. Him or anyone else usually spends less than 3 to 4 mins with me regardless of the situation. I am pretty healthy. I thought of leaving his practice but never took the initiative since I see him only once or twice a year (other than annual physical exam). I am seriously considering finding a new doc. Beware everyone! Run from this office while you can! My family and I have been with Dr. Kuzio since he opened his office in Acworth. We are now changing physicians because of all the rudeness and non caring staff. The original staff has been the best of all, beleive me, Dr. Kuzio has been through many, many, staff members. I can remember the original staff made the visit just a treat and I can remember bringing them goodies by to brighten their day like they always brighten mine. Dr. Kuzio is great and I wish we could continue to be his patient. His staff is horrible and (as another reviewer mentioned) borderline dangerous. Several of my family members have had bad experiences recently, and we are all changing physicians. One family member went 3 days without any blood pressure medicine because his office could not manage to call in the prescription after several promises to do so. I would never recommend Dr. Kuzio to anyone. My daughter recently went to him for a routine sports physical even though he is not her primary doctor and has none of her records. The night of her appointment day she complained about how sore her arm was from the shot that Dr. Kuzio had given her. I asked what shot since we received no printout stating that she had received one . My daughter is under 18 and all of her shot records are at our regular doctors office. I went in presenting overall body aches and fever. They did a UA and said I had a UTI. The lab called be in 2 days and said I didnt have a UTI. Three weeks later I went back not feeling any better, in fact much worse, and I had pneumonia.
This office is extremely inefficient and quite frankly dangerous. My husband and I have been going for about 5 years and are changing. You can overlook incompetency only so long. Front office people seem to hate their jobs and are rude, phone contact is almost impossible, scripts not called in when promised, and a general lack of warmness and compassion are all part of the package. I hardly ever write reviews - but people should be aware of what service they will get.
Our family has had many problems with this office over the years and we have finally left. 1) Dr. Kuzio failed to refer my husband for a slightly high PSA (prostate specific antigen). When my husband had his physical the following year, his PSA was approx. 10 times what it was supposed to be. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer.2) THE STAFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE OVER THE PHONE!!! 3) Although we were established patients, they would never squeeze us in if we were sick.4) The nurse practitioner was judgmental about our lifestyle... read more
Ive been visiting Dr. Kuzio for over 10 years now since college. He has been fabulous. Ive seen the nurse practitioners as well and Ive never had any problems. Sicknesses, physicals, allergies, I even had swine flu and my appendix removed in an emergency procedure. You cant ask for a better, more friendly and knowledgable family doctor.
