I had several problems with this doctor before I finally switched to a new PCP. My biggest issue? He wouldnt call me by my name. Instead, I was "cutie pie" and "sweetie". As a grown woman, I found it offensive coming from my male doctor. Other issues: always had to go in to speak to the doctor, would not return phone calls, office staff would forget to fax referrals, was once read somebody elses test results, frequently saw the nurse practitioner or physicians assistant rather than the Dr., and amazingly, was once asked "Wha... read more
I called Dr. Kuzios office a few days ago for an appointment and Laura said she could fit me in that day. I arrived at the office exactly at the time of my appointment. After checking in with laura, I sat down and waited for about five minutes before I was called by the nurse. The nurse checked my weight then took me to an exam room where she proceeded to take my BP, temp, and pulse and updated my records on the computer. After that, I waited about 15 minutes before Dr. Kuzio entered. Dr. Kuzio was professional showed a cari... read more
I have been a patient of Acworth Family Medicine for about 3 years. I ALWAYS give benefit of the doubt, sometimes to a fault. I must say that I really have no serious complaints about Dr. Kuzio, whom I have seen once, or the NPs or PAs. Since I have experience in the medical field, I actually prefer to see a NP. To some this is a big deal, but it doesnt bother me. I must say however that the staff there is ATROCIOUS!!!! For example, I had a test done on a joint. I recieved three of four calls regarding my test results. Each ... read more
Dr. Kuzio has a wonderful personality, great bedside manner and vast medical knowledge to boot. As owner of the practice-he has chosen excellent staff to care for his patients. It is rare that I have called and not gotten a "same day "appointment when I was sick. Each time I have called to office there has been a cheerful voice answering, and my concerns were handled promptly.Their empathy for patients is unmatched. The clinical director is very concerned with the problems of each patient, and the office manager is keenly ade... read more
I initially chose this doc because I could get in easily and just needed a referral. The second time I had to see him, I was very disappointed. I basically had to persuade him to take some labs as he had blown off a huge concern of mine. I later had similar issues, and needed my lab results sent to my new doc. I called multiple times and waited months, and the labs were never sent. I ended up needing to repeat them. Incompetent staff. Doc does not take concerns to heart. Beware.
horrible doctors office. i can get past the rudeness and waiting over an hour each time but when they dont listen and give you the wrong drugs - that is a problem! Our child died and I must say the shoddy medical care I was given by them did contribute.
Just walked out after waiting for an hour and a half. The office was not busy, so I am not sure what accounted for this wait. Staff was not polite, and no apologies were made. I hesitated to go back, as I thought the staff was unfriendly at my last appointment. Should have gone with my instinct.
I never saw Dr. Kuzio. Only the nurse practitioner. I told her I have extreme anxiety to the point of pulling muscles in my body and migraine headaches. this happens to me about 2-3 times a week or more depending on stressful situations. She insisted that I go daily pills for depression, NOT Anxiety? She said it would help. Well after 5 perscriptions and 1 year later with weight gain (side effect) Im still having horrible anxiety attacks. I just need a doctor to listen to me. I love life!! Im not depressed at all and never h... read more
All of you people out there that are writing bad reviews for Dr. Kuzio probably write bad reviews for every one and every thing. When you come across with a bad attitude the other person is immediately on the defensive. Everyone is allowed to have a bad day, but not bad all time. I can only say good things about Dr. K and his staff. He has a great bedside manner and let me just tell you folks, I have had my and your share of illness thru my 60 years. It is so wonderful to have a pleasant Doctor. He always sends me to special... read more
