Although he is good in his field, his bedside manner is the worst I have ever experienced. He is extremely rude and I will never return to be treated in such a manner again!!
As soon as Dr Dan walks into your room, you can tell he has control of the situation and that feels great! Fixed both knees, I have no complaints, and I highly recommend him!
I sent my shoulder MRI to Dr Terpstra and then talked to Dr Terpstra about what I am dealing with based on what he read. He said surgery is NOT necessary unless the shot and Physical Therapy does not work. I like his conservative approach. Dr Terpstra is a great guy. Very Knowledgeable, personable, informative and professional. I definitely felt comfortable with him, his input and diagnosis. If you’re having shoulder issues I would contact him first. Thank you Dr Terpstra!
April 16 2018 I had a total left knee replacement. Everything went perfect. Dr. Dan had explained the procedure completely prior to the surgery. I now have no pain in my knee or any other parts of my body, that had hurt previously- because of my 'Bad' knee. I am a 67 year old who now has been given back my active lifestyle 100 percent! :)
Dr. Terpstra always takes the time to listen, explain what's going on and answer any questions I may have. I never feel like he's rushing through my appointment.
Dr. Terpstra is the best Doctor I have ever had. His genuine caring and abilities are second to none. Dr. Terpstra replaced both of my knees in March of 2014. He has given me a new lease on life that can never be repaid. I am 56 years old, so at the time, I was 52. I have gotten my life back. I am back to doing all the things I love to do, and am forever grateful to have him as my Doctor.
I have read previous reviews, I am sure this doctor is a good surgeon, but the problem is that he pushes surgery and procedures that are not a necessity. I felt that the procedure he suggested was not necessary for my recovery, so he dismissed me from his service. All that told me was it is only about the money. He really does not care what his patients think if they are not in agreement with him.
I went to see Dr. Terpstra for a problem with my knee. He is a fantastic doctor, very knowledgeable, friendly and very good at explaining my condition and all of my options. I have a lot of activity that I enjoy and want to get back to, and Dr. Terpstra is completely focused and able to get me back to doing what I love. The highest recommendation I can give for any physician is to say that I would trust them with my children. I would take my kids to Dr. Terpstra without hesitation.
He did my surgery back in 2012 it is now 2017. He is a very careing Dr knows what he is doing and he explained everything he had to do to get my knee better.
