I have been a patient of Dr Barba for around three years. During that time he has been a most caring and professional doctor. He treated my spine issues very conservatively until it became apparent that the best option remaining was surgery. He and his team had me well briefed and prepared and the operation was very successful. I highly recommend him for any spine related issues.
If you are reluctant in having back surgery.....don't be. The quality of my life has and will improve as I age. I am a very young 65 yr woman and will have a better back because I had Dr. Barba and his team take really good care of me. The website fills you in with all the questions and answers you need. VERY informative. After one week at home I have literally no pain. I was not taking any heavy drugs. I feel very fortunate to have had this surgery and to have the BEST surgeon!!

Fantastic!! I was in terrible shape but the minute I met him I was confident he could help me. A year later I can stand straight and NO PAIN!!! I would recommend Dr. Barba to anyone and everyone who is suffering from chronic back and nerve pain. I tried chiropractors (2) and acupuncture for 7 months before finally going to the doctor. Surgery was my only option and Dr. Barba was exceptional! He explained my condition thoroughly in language I could understand. My surgery returned me back to the life I knew before debilitating and crippling pain thanks to Dr. Barba!
Dr Barba, It’s been a year this month, November 19,2020 since you performed my spinal surgery. I wantto tell you how much I appreciate what you did for me. Dr Barba you gave me back my life. Before you did my spinal surgery I went for 15 sessions of physical therapy. I went for three epidural steroid shots over a period of a month at the hospital as an outpatient. Dr. Barba is a caring, no nonsense doctor. He won't rush you to get surgery but will explore alternatives to ease your pain.I have and will continue to recommend him to other people who needs back pain relief. My surgery went better than I expected. Dr. Barba did not appear to be rushed each time I've visited him. He takes his time explaining procedures and benefits and addresses my concerns.
I’ve had a few surgeries and I have to say I would have never thought I would have ever had a better experience having a surgery than I had on my shoulder with Dr. Skyhar.
