After several in person visits we were able to have telehealth and or video health visits. With my busy schedule I appreciate the flexibility that is offered in telehealth visits. Dan Ackroyd is always professional and courteous with every visit. I would strongly recommend him to anyone.
After following up and connecting with him via phone, he asked for some information and responded in an extremely unprofessional way after hearing my situation and what I was looking for. I am someone who has CPTSD and related challenges, but after I mentioned this he was very 'skittish'. I went through to get consent information for him to connect with my therapist, but he ghosted me AND my therapist. I would absolutely not recommend as this is hugely unprofessional behavior.

I’ve been a patient of Daniel Ackroyd for several years and he has been instrumental in identifying and helping me resolve issues that I needed to address. He has a great “bedside manner” and makes a real effort to get to know you. He has played a critical role in helping me get back on track. I highly recommend him.
I won’t say that at first he wasn’t helpful. But that was almost ten years ago, during C19 he changed to video meetings and never gave the option to meet in person again. He shifted to just regular phone calls and then texts. It became very difficult to reach him. Our phone appointments were rushed. He was frazzled, aggressive, cutting short my replies. Do yourself a favor and find someone else that will help you. The reviews that mention he ghosts his patients are 100% accurate. He has no empathy and he will let you go without your medicine. Even though it is not safe to stop your meds he will stop seeing and responding to you with no warning. He rushes through appointments and cuts off answers to questions he asks. The WORST!!! Dont bother! When you need help the most he will drop you as a patient!!! Very rude the way he spoke to me many times!!
Dan is a great man. Very caring and helpful. I use him more for medication mgmt so I don't need to see him as frequently. But he will always put me in even when he has nothing available. I would highly recommend him.
I have been seeing Dan for five or more years now finally I have someone that knows how to treat my condition with the proper medications and listens and gives me sound advice and support I am grateful for Dan aykroyd services I am also a combat veteran from desert Storm for 100% service connected
