I just purchased a used Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit from DCA. Prior to getting to DCA, I had gone to 4 other dealerships to test drive cars. I found the experience until then extremely frustrating. We had excellent service at Dane County Auto. They were able to get us out of our car and into a 2015 model for a great deal. Our salesman, Shawn, was very knowledgeable and helped us pick out the right vehicle. Very pleasant dealership to work with.

Terrible terrible terrible. Should have written a review a long time ago. Such liars. First we were dealing online back and forth through email. They gave me an estimate for trade in value. Drive up there and they won't honor it. Said they put in "the wrong vehicle" when estimating. The guy I was emailing back and forth wasn't even there even though he had set up a time to see HIM. Then! They lied about the type of damage done to the vehicle we bought. Turns out it was structural and now no one will allow us to trade it in w... read more

Made false report on my vehicle I brought 3 years ago and was suppose to trade my vehicle last night to another dealership. They told me I can't trade my car since it have structure damage before I brought this vehicle. The sale man straight up and lie in my face that is ONLY MINOR damage even show me the carfax report. I suspect this carfax information was shown for another vehicle. They put in my agreement w fine line that they are not responsible for any kind of damage. Just bought a used SUV from DCA, and it was unquestionably the best experience I've had buying a vehicle. Found a great price on CarGurus and went from there. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and more importantly they didn't use the awkward hard sales tactics that you encounter at some dealerships. I initially came in simply checking prices on used trucks. The personalized attention I received was outstanding. Shawn and Don were very straight forward and courteous, which was a nice change from the pushy sales representatives I dealt with at other dealerships.
