Dr. Vaisman has been my cardiologist for several years and prior to that I knew him from working for Seton. Aside from being highly knowledgeable, he is an unusually kind and gracious man. He has one of the busiest practices in the Austin area and it is so rare to find an individual able to maintain composure and treat each patient as an individual. His office staff is also stellar!
Dr. Vaisman literally saved my life. He’s thorough, listens to my concerns, and is proactive. When I communicated a change in symptoms, he took appropriate and immediate action.

We saw Dr Vaisman while he was rounding at Seton Williamson Hospital. He was very thorough, Intelligent, personable, and professional. He explained things in layman terms so I had a better understanding of what was going on with my mother. I appreciated him taking the time to answer all my questions.
dr vaisman is THE most caring, compassionate doctor i have ever met. aside from being so knowledgeable, he truly does understand the struggles you go thru with heart disease. he discusses everything with you, listens to your issues & finds solutions till you feel better. there is usually a bit of a wait to see him, but only because he doesn't rush his patients. he takes time with you, as if you were the only patient he has...thats important. i even kept seeing him when he didnt take my insurance
Dr. Vaisman is great. Unfortunately the same CANNOT be said for his nurse. Be prepared for her to to not follow through with what she says. Good luck getting return calls even when the nurse (Courtney) "promises" to call before the end of the day. She seldom returns calls unless you leave 4-5 messages. Dr. Vaisman is a wonderful doctor and I am extremely happy with him, just not his nurse. I cannot emphasize my unhappiness with her....especially when trying to get results from tests.
