IF you can have can enjoyable experience in having surgery (which doesn't sound right) I guess my shoulder surgery a month ago is it. Dr. Guttman, his staff, and Holy Cross Hospital were very professional and made sure to continue to check on my comfort, both physical and emotional. I would recommend Dr. Guttman and his staff for any surgery he specializes in 100%.
Dr Guttmann put my shoulder back together after a bad rotator cuff tear. After 5 months of PT I am I am almost back to normal. It was a pleasure to work with him, the Taos Orthopaedic Institute, and Taos Hospital. Treatment and personal interaction was excellent.
Dr. Guttmann is an excellent surgeon who performed surgery on my right shoulder just nine months ago. My pain level was minimal and the healing process was very fast. He was considerate and thorough in treating my condition. I highly recommend Dr. Guttmann. Thanks to him, I'm playing tennis again.
I have had two surgeries done by Dr. Guttmann. He is very professional, kind, takes time with his patients. I had a total reverse shoulder replacement one year ago. The surgery he did was superb! I am about 98% out of pain. I have excellent range of motion and can even lift my arm above my head. Underwent Surgery for shoulder and bicep in November 2018. Dr. Guttmann did an excellent job. I have been telling everyone I come across with a need for a surgeon to see him and his staff.
Dr. Guttmann has completed 3 surgical procedures on me. Both shoulders dating back to 2013 and 2014. Most recently, he completed a procedure to release an impinged nerve in my elbow. Each one of my surgeries have been successful . Dr Guttmann helped to restore my quality of life. I cannot express my gratitude enough. I highly recommended him.

While I didn't like Dr. Guttmann much, he helped me immensely. He explained the problems with my shoulders using my X-rays to demonstrate. He took the time to learn I have no pain, just mobility problems and gave me a copy of a paper describing success of a British doctor with a muscle building exercise that usually restores some mobility. I was very pleased with the outcome though I found him to be irritable.
Dr. Guttman has repaired both shoulders for me and I have always found both him and his team to be very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend him to others.
