I absolutely love this place. Everyone is super nice and courteous. They have the best nail technicians. My nails always look perfect after leaving the salon and they never chip. There is not other salon better than this in Pittsburgh.
I’ve been meaning to schedule an appointment for the longest time and I’m so glad that I finally did! Not only is this the cutest salon in the entire world, but the staff truly stands out above the rest! The atmosphere alone with cleanliness is top notch. Being a mom of 2 boys I don't do many things for myself, but treating myself to services at DBL is something I enjoy doing. Moms deserve to feel pretty too. Karri kills it at waxing/shaping and tinting my brows Every.Single.Time. She truly is the brow queen. She takes pride in her work and it shows. Toni always does an amazing job with my nails (and they've lasted up to 6-7 weeks!). She executes my ideas perfectly. I have been getting my hair high lites for years and am extremely happy regarding my visit this month with Sammi. She is professional and clearly takes pride in her work. She gave professional recommendations regarding the color and I was grateful for those. The salon is so cute and fun to watch people come and go during your appointment leaving happy! I will definitely be returning for other services.
Owner is pretentious, undermining, and insensitive. She posted a crass “joke” about West Virginians on an Instagram Story. When asked if she was insulting a good portion of clientele that make her a lot of money, she replied “it’s a joke”. When I asked for a refund TWICE for a gift card my husband bought me from there for Christmas, ( I didn’t want to fund a business that bullies and makes fun of people for their looks or where they live) she ignored my requests, blocked me, and continued to insulted West Virginia. I always enjoy going to DBL! The staff is always so welcoming & fun to be around. I recently got a Lash Lift by Cheyenne and a Color Boost by Karri! It was my first appt with Chey and she was very thorough. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her job! And Karri is always a pleasure to be around. I love my brows even more now! Thanks DBL! �
