Kelley & Mitch Cook have a good thing going here at the Dakota Cafe. The husband-and-wife team started this business in order to spend more time with each other and it shows; their smooth synergy is felt by every customer and employee. Kelley's passion for cooking and experimenting in the kitchen has been a life-long love affair. For several years she taught as a culinary arts instructor for a vocational school that focused on teens who struggled in traditional high schools. The experience was tough but rewarding.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here with some friends recently. We had heard nothing but great things and decided to go on a whim (it was a Thursday night). I ordered the mushroom ravioli and it was a m a z i n g!! The service was terrific as well. My only regret is not having gone here months and months ago!! We will definitely be back!

We had a great meal & service. We purchases a certificate a benefit auction. When seated staff said to use it when we paid. After the meal they said they didn't accept them any more. Poor practice as we did pay for it....twice. Still have a great meal & great coconut cake. :( befuddled
