Kelley & Mitch Cook have a good thing going here at the Dakota Cafe. The husband-and-wife team started this business in order to spend more time with each other and it shows; their smooth synergy is felt by every customer and employee. Kelley's passion for cooking and experimenting in the kitchen has been a life-long love affair. For several years she taught as a culinary arts instructor for a vocational school that focused on teens who struggled in traditional high schools. The experience was tough but rewarding.

We eat there 3 to 4 times a week. Love that Kelly and her staff will mix things up if you ask.
We love the Dakota Cafe! The beef tenders are the best!
The food was delicious. Lunch was a little spendy ( $50 with a tip for a family of 4) but the portions were perfect, and we loved the amount of choices. We would come back for sure
We just celebrated our 33rd anniversary at Dakota. We have been there for other anniversaries and celebrations. The food is always wonderful! I recommend the house salad!! Any entree you choose is great. My husband loves the pulled pork with chipotle cream!
This restaurant refused service to a disabled person with a service dog in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Please do NOT give this restaurant your business.
Refused to serve me. Disabled people not allowed. I have used a guide dog for 15 years. We have never before been turned away from any restaurant before. I asked owner if he knew the Federal Law. He said yes, he just didn't want it. Shocked!
