We had a family reunion there and I have to say it's not the greatest place to have it. The dining hall is quite small for a large group. There ARE things to do in the water so that's a good point.
RecommendedWonderful time at the park after 30 some years. Enjoyed the trail and swimming area. Will be back again soon.
My family and I love DSP!!! Always have the best time swimming and camping!! The bathroom, General store and lake is always clean and fun! Thanks for a great time!!!
This week was our first stay in this park. We were there 4 nights and had a really good time. The park is well maintained. The park host in our area was great and very friendly. The swim area is great. We did wish it was more shaded and will take a pop up canopy to ensure we can grab some shade next time! The park was quiet and peaceful at night, even on a crowded holiday weekend. We will definitely be returning...not just for camping, but even just a day trip to hike and swim, and cookout!
We've had an amazing weekend! All of the events yesterday were so much fun! We loved the 5k, the Dutch oven cook off, the fishing tournament and the dance!! The park is beautiful, the staff is amazing and everything is well kept! We can't wait to come back again!
