I love our state park. The staff is always wonderful. We have the best events but my favorite is Christmas in the Park. It's absolutely beautiful, every campsite it lit up, best place to see all those lovely light. And decor. Sit on Santas lap and enjoying hot cocoa and cookies... And visiting with hundreds of folks... It's just the best!.
Love this park! Great camping sites, super clean bathrooms, great trails, great swimming area, etc. Perfect weekend getaway with family and friends! This is a place we will be visiting more often!

Best maintained state park I've ever been to! Everyone I met workers and volunteers alike were all above and beyond friendly!
We had an amazing time at Daingerfield State Park over Labor Day weekend. We stayed in Site 7 in the Big Pine area on the recommendation of the park ranger. It was a beautiful site with a view of the lake and fairly private from surrounding sites. The park is very well kept and well loved by it's staff and the community. On Saturday they had Ranger led programs teaching archery, kayaking and paddle boarding. They also had a group that demonstrated Dutch oven cooking.
