We visit a lot of Texas State Parks and I can see why this one is so popular. It is far enough from major cities and big highways, so none of that noise. Not much light pollution. Some campsites are a bit small if you have a large RV, but we had plenty of room in our pop up camper. Surrounded by lots of tall pine trees. Good water, electric and sewer hookups. I took my sons and their daughters for Sunday afternoon. It was an hour drive and well worth it. Clean grounds not crowded, family friendly. Had an awesome time. Plan on returning!
