Deep red walls, funky art, fantastic food and a wine bar balcony make this downtown restaurant a local favorite. Chef/owner Tom Douglas, who also owns Etta's Seafood and Palace Kitchen, spares nothing to make the most interesting, flavorful, beautifully presented dishes. For appetizers, try the Scallion potstickers and Penn Cove Manila clams. Entrees feature numerous seafood selections and wood-grilled meats. Do not skip dessert. It's good, ya know. – I thought my food was pretty good. I wouldn't say it was the best I've ever tasted, but whatever. How many things are? Cuisine Hath No Pretense – Truly one of the more disappointing dining experiences in Seattle. I fail to understand how Dahlia Lounge continues to attract such a large clientele. The halibut was anything but, the service was comatose, but I will say the drinks were spot on. If you decide to visit this establishment, go for the drinks, avoid the cuisine. It's grossly overpriced... and over appreciated.
Dahlia Lounge has a 4.4 star rating with 799 reviews.
