Opened in 1989, the Dahlia Lounge was Tom Douglas’ first restaurant and now considered the flagship with 12 other fine dining restaurants in downtown Seattle. The menu is comprised of locally sourced, seasonally influenced ingredients, and exhibits fresh flavours of the market. Along with other national accolades, Dahlia Lounge was nominated by the James Beard Association for “Best Restaurant” in 2006 and Diners Choice award 2018, and continues to be the quintessential Seattle restaurant experience.

Great food and atmosphere ~ plus rotating chefs; ours was Tibetan and had prepared meals for the Dalai llama!
Love Dahlia Lounge and the Bakery. Always amazing service and the food never disappoints. Chef Brock Johnson keep up the great work !!
Dahlia Lounge used to be one of our favorite restaurants. The experience we had tonight will quite likely be our last visit. 20% service charge - I'm fine with a service charge instead of tipping, but to force 20% on me is appalling. My fish portion was SO TINY. My husband ordered fried chicken and got basically chicken nuggets. Just disappointing. And sad to be letting go of a former fav.
Just learned about your new "no tipping" policy. How insulting to customers to add a surcharge to an already expensive menu.
Dining at its best; delicious food, attentive service.
Business response:
We appreciate it Leigh!!!
Burned my mouth on the soup so badly that I can't taste anything. When I told the waiter, he laughed and said yep it's pretty hot.
One of my favorite food experiences. The food was out of this world! I'd take the flight to Seattle just to have the buffalo cauliflower again. I went with the seafood sampler as my main and felt like I was in heaven with every bite. Service was impeccable, with a highly attentive waiter who never seemed to be hovering or in the way. I thought the food stood up to Morimoto's in NY, which is my high-water mark.
