This exuberant Italian restaurant is big and usually packed. But its soft colors are lit so perfectly that when you are sitting at one of the candle-lit tables, it seems intimate. The food is classic. Try the Seafood Ravioli in lobster cream sauce or the Veal Tenderloin. And if you have a favorite Italian specialty, call ahead and the chef will prepare it for you. The owners will even send a limo to pick you up at your downtown hotel.

You call that service? – Three of us went to DA Mimmo on Saturday nite. The food was excellent, creative and tasty. However, I think that it was pricey for what we got. The restaurant atmosphere was fine, even though it was a little cramped where we sat. Service, however, was not acceptable. The waiter seemed put out and bored by our questions about the dishes and by our not ordering wine. I believe that the expression is "He looked down his nose at us". Best of Baltimore – DA Mimmo is the very best for Italian food in little Italy and Baltimore ! Meals can be made / changed with the special touch that you want.
DA Mimmo = Da MMM MMM – DA Mimmo's is hands down, the best italian restaurant in Baltimore City. Expensive, but well worth it for a special occassion. The food is consistently excellent, especially the veal tenderloin and veal chop. The service is terrific - very attentive without hovering. The atmosphere is pleasant and not overdone. An extra benefit is their free parking lot - just announce yourself for dinner and you have a place to park in Baltimore. An all around dining pleasure!
You Gotta Go!!! – From California but have at least a couple of business trips a year to Baltimore. If we have a group we ALWAYS go to Da Mimmo's!! My favorite is the Veal Chops!! These things are humongous!! The staff is helpful and informative of what is on the menu. They have a limo/shuttle service from the Hotels at the Inner-Harbor which is a plus. There is a lot of competition in Little Italy but my choice is Da Mimmo's!!!
