I paid an initial $300 for a service tech to fix a leak coming from the bottom of my fridge. Apparently the drain was clogged. 2 days outside of my warranty my fridge began leaking again. When I called I was informed I was outside my warranty but that because it was only a couple days they would honor it and not charge a service or labor fee. This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with!!! They sent a service rep who had no clue what he was doing. I needed evaluation for a refrigerator freezer that was not cooling properly. The service rep opened the freezer drawer and said the fan was working. He did no diagnostic checks, and since the unit is in the garage, he advised covering the unit with a blanket because the freezer does not cool with the cooler temps of the garage. I'm not sure how anyone can come up with an A+ rating for this company. I have had nothing but trouble and their customer service has been the worse I have ever experienced. I purchased a Maytag washing machine not quite 2 years ago that broke down, I called Maytag about an autherized service company and they set up an appointment with D-3/A-Ok Appliance Service Inc. This is the first time to report a company! Your consumers need to know that this company sent me to a collection agency about 10 days after the service call. I did not receive a bill or a phone call concerning the service call. I was in contact with ****** (warranty) when I got a letter from the collection agency. I paid the 95.00 to protect my excellent credit rating. ****** told me that is was highly unusual for a company to follow this type of approach. I signed a bill at the time of the service call with a "0" due.
