They did good work – OK, so my car was damaged bad in the recent hail storm, I heard about D-town, and of course went online to read the reviews. So basically they have mixed reviews, and I was a little unsure about having them fix my car, but we talked extensively to the Owner when we dropped my car off, on a Saturday when he came in just to allow us to drop my car off. unprofessional – i was in a wreck and took my car to d town in south austin, my car has now been there for almost 1 month. when they called me to pick up my car they brought it out with the front left tire flat and then told me oh i thought the brake was on. so they took it back in to the garage and aired up the tire, the next time he brought the car out it had a knot on the tire. they wanted me to take it like that. finally i talked them into fixing the tire witch has taken longer to fix then the damage to my car. i had 2 r... read more

Top Notch -Affordable Service! – The first time I went there I had a very pleasant encounter the secretary helped me understand alot of what I didnt understand. My car was fixed like it was brand new again, now it took 1 or 2 days longer than planned however i was notified before hand that, that might occur due to the extensive damage on my car. However all was well at the end. I have recommened this shop to all of my friends. The customer service and the prices cannot be beat. I seen nothing negative about this shop.

THE WORST BODY SHOP IN AUSTIN – This has got to be the worst shop in austin. When I brought my car in for the first time it took them 3 1/2 weeks to get ready.When I pick the car up they put a old light on that had red paint from the car it must of came off ,the bumper did not match up with the fender they broke my grill the hood did not open properly and did not line up. Beware of, "We will pay you $500 to repair your car" – My experience with this body shop is being sure you get the repairs itemized in writing. What was stated by the owner to me is not what occurred. The repairs appear to be completed along with sustaining additional damage while in the possession of the body shop. However, this was not disclosed to me and repaired courtesy of the body shop, a broken window. Worst Experience! – I'll start with the one postive thing about my experience with D Town....the receptionist was very curtious. The rest of my experience what horrible. I took my SUV in for hail damage repair and they kept my car for 8 weeks. The original time estimate was max of 2 weeks since there were so many hail damage claims in our area. D town never bothered to contact me and my husband to let us know our car wouldn't be ready when the pick up days came. My husband would show up each day it was supposed to be ready, ... read more

Would definitely go back – Pros: Friendly staff and they paid nearly all of my deductible saving me a lot of money! I drive a BMW so i was a little apprehensive about getting my car fixed there, but when i got it back i was amazed by the quality of work, car looks even better then before my accident. Would definitely recommend!! Cons: Took a little more time then expected to get my car back, but it didnt bother me.

Very happy with D-Town – I took my car to D Town Body shop, and it was the easiest process. The estimate was quick, and they not only gave me an estimate on the cost, but on the time it would take as well. The job was finished exactly when they said it would be, and there were no surprises about cost either. The staff is so nice and easy to work with. The car looks great and I am very happy. Thanks to Melvina and D Town Body Shop!

Excellent Customer Service – I have used D-Town for all my automotive needs. They are extremely responsive, courteous and put their customers first. I would not go anywhere else.
