I am a retired, registered nurse....and I have neuropathy! I was always told that there was nothing that could be done to improve this condition. Luckily. I was referred to Dr. Cernak. She explained that her treatment consisted of Electrical Stimulation Therapy and Ultrasound. She found that this combination was successful about 75% of the time. Today I had my f/u visit with Dr. Cernak to review my doppler and ultrasound results. I wanted to write to comment on her patient care as it’s superb. She is the easiest doctor I have ever had! When Dr. Joel Weil referred me to her several years ago, I remember him saying, “I really think she will be able to help you”. Well he was right! Dr Cernak is a breath of fresh air. She tells it like it is. She explains everything in easy to understand terms. Puts your mind at ease. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is concerned about the health of their feet. She knows her stuff and her staff shows the most respect for her too.
