I really enjoyed the experience. The ability to build a PC that fit my needs, while also controlling the price point, and showing the approximate performance for gaming was exactly what I wanted. The interface that CLX provides to do so easy to use, making it easy to see incompatibilities and recommending the proper parts to put in place to solve the conflict. The whole process from start to finish was easy. The company was in contact through the different steps in the build process. The computer was very well packaged in a large wooden crate and when I had something missing I emailed customer service and was replied to within an hour. They then shipped the missing parts through overnight shipping at no cost. So far very happy with the company.
It has been a long time since I had a computer built for me. My last several were off the shelf after building several machines in the '90s and '00s. I spent a lot of time making combinations and trying to get the most for my money. I'm not really a gamer, but I am a doctoral student who does a lot of research and is helped by having multiple screens. Avoid CLX Gaming (Cybertron). You can build a better PC for less money and less trouble. My experience with CLX Gaming has been one of the worst experiences with a computer company I have had. I decided to buy a custom high performance prebuilt system ($3800) because at the time I saw it as the easiest option. Shortly after receiving it, I noticed flickering graphics where it would flash frames of what had been previously displayed in games like ********. We would like to thank the customer for their custom, and sincerely apologize that their experience was less than the normally enjoyable one provided to the majority of our customers. With regard to the graphical issues encountered, when contacted when the system was 6 months old, the PC was of course still within the 1 year parts and lifetime labor warranty, and we were happy to make every effort to remedy the issue. forgot my keyboard after i payed 2,500 dollars for 2 computers around 1250 each including shipping. and im just now realizing that you charged me for storage that i didnt even get with my computer i ordered ******* storage to go with the ******* ram because thats how i wanted it and you charged me 14 dollars more for the ******* storage that i didnt even get. absolutely ridiculous when your machinces already feel overpriced. thats not to mention the half plugged in wire i found and told yall about in the QnA and you still se... read more
