thank you guys so much. we saw Dr Alex Kanholm and he was so nice, took his time with us and was great with helping us with what my poodle needed and they were able to fit us in that day. the place was clean and roomy and I loved that there was a dog side and a cat side. I've never had such a great experience at a veterinary and I will be back to see him for sure. I recommend this place to everyone I know now. ❤
We were a walk in when our puppy swallowed a tennis ball. The staff here were so caring and nice. Dr. Kanholm moved his appts around so he could perform emergency surgery. He and several people stayed long after the office closed to monitor our pup and make sure she was recovering well before we had to move her. They provided clear, caring and thorough communication every step of the way. Grat experience during a bad situation, highly recommend!
Very knowledgeable vet. She is awesome! Took care of my babies very well. The staff could use a class on customer service etiquette, but otherwise the vet is outstanding.

Very personable staff & Dr Hyatt was thorough in care for my sweet Lexi, who has extreme catitude! She is healthy, but worried she may have kidney disease! Cuyamaca is highly recommended & I am glad I took her here for 1st time visit!
Kind, competent, flexible, great rewards plan
I have always liked my experiences with my two cats at Cuyamaca Animal Hospital. After the renovations, my kitties loved the new separate entrance. The cat created exam room with the cool cat tree allowed my babies to explore, play, and become relaxed in the room before their exam. I recently recommended a coworker have her cat seen there when she had something going on with her cat’s chin. They even had a great experience and thanked me for the recommendation!
