We needed a new roof from hail damage and our insurance assigned a random company coming from over an hour and a half away that we were unsure of their work and reputation. Instead we requested Custom Roofing to do the work and they happily provided the insurance company the needed information/paperwork to get this request approved. Roof put on a couple of years ago and was great….until the shingles began to fall off. They came out and said they had put the nails completely thru the shingles. And now more are coming off and they have failed to return 6 calls over the past 2 weeks. 0/10

This company installed the roof for my (new to me) home in February 2024, the warranty was transferred to us and now there is a roof leak. I have tried emailing and calling multiple times since the beginning of August and no one will return the calls or emails to even schedule an appointment. I guess any company can say they have a warranty and just not call back when their workmanship doesn’t hold up. SPF roof was a blistered and leaking mess two years after installation. He used water-based paint to seal which is not appropriate for roofs with ponding water. Daryl, 100% silicone it what you are supposed to use! Last year I tried to contact Daryl, but after several weeks it was clear he was blowing me off. He literally sprayed more SPF over existing blisters and let the uncoated foam bake in the sun. Daryl, UV rays from the sun degrade the foam! This work cost me tens of thousands to repair.

Blake and the Custom Roofing Team have now completed two separate roofing projects for my family in Ocala and Gainesville.
