sponsiveness, Value We had the ac replaced by custom climate back in 2017 . The original unit has been in the house since new in 2004 . They were quick and efficient of course for a new 5500.00 new unit being replaced . Well a month went by and noticed a large accumulation of water in the garage , they came out and found the drain was disconnected and fixed it . A year goes by and the unit quit working . Correction, the AC worked well for 2 years before issues started. The line-set is kinked, but it absolutely did not happen during installation. We do not replace line-sets at the time of install, nor would it have been possible to cause the problem where it is located. We have done everything we could to appease this customer.
My air conditioner was installed 6 years ago and had problems ever since. The door at bottom has never closed-- they taped it shut- it took 5 years to get the final inspection and things were done incorrectly. Every time a service person comes to clean they always want me to buy something or have something done. Recently mold was found. They wanted to clean it for 575 plus install a 2000 air purifier. When we purchased our home there was one remaining service call on the annual contract with Custom Climate Concepts, Inc. which happened on Dec. 3, 2019. That was the beginning of a nightmare that continues to this moment in April 2020. Our home is unusual because there are 4 separate HVAC zones with separate equipment and thermostats for each. I was offered a low cost promotional inspection of my A/C system, to include filter cleaning and topping up of my freon if necessary and fell for it. The tech that came out was very personable and seemed competent, but insisted that I had mold in my ducts and needed special duct cleaning and the addition of some special uV equipment to keep mold from growing. Stay away from this company, they are dishonest, and pray upon elderly. They sent a representative to my parents home in Venice, who diagnosed a problem that didn't exist (mold in ductwork). He gave them a price of $8,000 to fix this non-existent issue, and because my 86 year old father has respiratory issues, they gave the rep an $800 deposit to do the work as they thought the mold (which again, isn't actually present) might be affecting his breathing.
