Superior Staff, Highly Educated in Dentistry and The Calm after the Storm Recently I went to a local dentist to have a crown removed and replaced. Even though the staff was friendly I developed such pain and was given a referral to an Endodontic whose techniques were out dated and tramatized my jaw even more. The pain continued to escalate. I was very nervous. The staff was very kind and made me feel very comfortable and talked to me while I was waiting. They came in and checked on me many times while I was waiting for Dr. Shanks. He did an excellent job and overall very pleased with my visit.
Devon is simply amazing and patient. She lets the children know exactly what she is doing, lets them know if something is going to taste sour, bad, good, lets them know if something is going to be uncomfortable. She is so good with them. <3

Doctor Shanks is very friendly and professional. He is a good listener with a desire to please the patient. The staff is well trained and very caring about your needs. If a need arises they will get you in as soon as possible. I just experienced this first hand. I was so pleased that my problem was addressed so quickly.

During my appointment at Northside Family Dentistry I was treated with respect and compassion by all staff and including Dr. Shanks. My life experience in dental offices has generally been favorable, but I honestly say I actually enjoyed this visit to the dentist.
