It was awesome fun! Not for the faint of heart! We had a great time with our scout Troup. We did the overnight trip. I guess the only negative thing I could say is, make sure you use the earplugs because when people start snoring sounds like a freight train.
We took our 4 year old son on Saturday and it was wonderful! My husband and I both visited the caverns as children and still love it! Many more trips for us in the future.
Went with a scout pack. Had a great time. Very sore. But a great place to take big groups! Staff was very friendly and tour guide was great!
My son and I went with his Boy Scout troop this weekend and had a great time. Mildly strenuous is a major understatement in some areas but it showed me I can still get up when the time comes lol. Gonna be a sore Monday morning!
It was my very first time touring the caves. I am pleased to say that I was nothing less than absolutely satisfied. Our tour guide's name was Harley & she did an excellent job informing us about all the fun facts & different formations in the cave. There was never a dull moment or any unanswered questions. I recommend going to the caves 100%. Great experience!
Everything about Cumberland Caverns is awesome! And the Bluegrass Underground really provides a Fabulous show. I'm really happy we went & would definitely go again.
I'm not going to lie, I'm hurting from the experience. However, I'm also looking forward to doing it again soon. I'm not necessarily the smallest of people, so knowing that I could make it through the box, I was confident in my ability to get passed the tight spot. My only displeasure was that I was with a large group of youth that found out amusing to pass gas on the kid behind them. Nothing to complain about though. Our guide, along with the rest of the staff was awesome and it's a good laugh at my expense.
